Between the order and the courier there is a quiet window of 1 to 2 business days. Nothing dramatic
happens in it, which is the point. This is what it is for.
Held to the light
The frame comes out of its wrapping and the glazing is turned under a lamp. A hairline crack is invisible
face-on and obvious at an angle, so it is looked at from two or three angles rather than glanced at. A piece
with a cracked pane does not get packed; if there is no replacement in stock we cancel that line and refund
it in full rather than send it and argue later.
Measured against the page
The mat opening is checked against the photo size the product page promised, and the hanging hardware is
counted. A frame that arrives without its hook is a frame you cannot use tonight, which is a small failure
that feels large.
Packed for the road
Every corner gets a moulded protector, because a dropped carton lands on a corner and the shock travels
into the glazing. A rigid sheet faces the glazing so nothing presses on the middle of the pane. The piece is
then double-boxed and the outer carton is marked fragile — which is a request to the network, not a promise
from it. Anything from 11×14 inches upward travels flat wherever the courier allows it.
Then it is out of our hands
Delhivery / DTDC carry it from Thane, Maharashtra — about 3 to 5 business days to metro PIN codes and 4 to 9 business days from
order to doorstep. Which is why the last checks are yours: look at the carton before you sign, tilt it gently
and listen for loose glass, and film the unboxing. Report a cracked pane within 48 hours with that video and
it is ours to put right. Everything else — an unhung frame in its original packaging, invoice included — can
come back within 10 days.
